The Trinity University Computer Science Department is located on the second and third floors of the Halsell building. The Department has 8 full-time faculty, approximately 150 undergraduate majors and teaches several hundred students in computer science courses each semester. The department operates 109 computing systems in laboratories and offices in Halsell ranging from simple personal computers to large Unix systems designed to render complex computer graphic virtual worlds in real time. Its Unix systems are available on a 24 hour daily basis.
